I was reading an article called “Leading with Integrity,” by A.G. Lafley, Roger Martin and Jennifer Riel the other day and it got me thinking.
At Zito Consultants our practice of respect and dignity for colleagues, consumers and community partners is evident in our Guiding Principles.
When our soul’s essence* is present at the planning table—a Gateway of Possibilities emerge in wise decisions founded in trust that Guiding Principles lead to “purpose-driven priorities.” These priorities create an alignment of capabilities and resources for optimal outcomes.
“ . . . *for our purpose exhibiting discipline, clarity and consistency so that all of one’s decisions fit together and reinforce one another (intellectual integrity).” ~ ‘Leading with Intellectual Integrity’ by A.G. Lafley and Roger Martin, with Jennifer Riel
When you engage from a deeper place, call it a spiritual foundation or intellectual integrity, essential core values in action, or life and business truths aligned– we inherently honor diverse dialogue—and engage in collaborative life energies on projects implementing plans integrated in a holistic approach realizing a high return on value.
This approach is powerful when the inevitable life and business cycle present challenges or outright obstacles. When mindfulness is at play, we are guided through collaboration and open to reviewing and re-evaluating modes or methods. This relied upon conscious attention re-energizes ‘the team’ to stay the course as we navigate our sails through waters full of options and choices – all with any eye toward a high return on value.
We wholeheartedly trust in the alignment of our purpose-driven priorities* which serves as a life-line when things get challenging. When the economy shifts or the competitor outdoes us, or when we are simply tired and need a break.
“ … *Intellectual Integrity is the quality that enables a CEO and organizational [ partners ] to set these kinds of priorities, to articulate the rationale behind them . . .” ~ ‘Leading with Intellectual Integrity’ by A.G. Lafley and Roger Martin, with Jennifer Riel
This viewpoint supports business and life decisions as we monitor and adjust our sails in pursuit of an optimal outcome and for longevity. Within this space, we create a well-spring for responsiveness and accountability with partners, an integration of guiding principles with like minds and aspiring souls produce our highest quality outcome.
With a bonus—and that is a high return on value in our life’s journey embodied and emanating from a strong spiritual foundation—a significant link to longevity.
This Clear-View Perspective creates opportunities for wise decision-making within a powerful exchange of individual thoughts and ideas, resulting in the creation of meaningful goals within a space for agility and adaptability. This equilibrium for precision and swiftness is important in the navigational process of achieving a high quality optimal outcome. —Colette Zito
